Built in 1958, served with 92 Squadron and led the Squadron's aerobatics team, the Blue Diamonds, in which colour scheme she appears now at Newark Air Museum.
After also serving with 66 Sqn RAF and 229 OCU RAF, 605 served with the Royal Saudi Air Force and the Royal Jordanian Air Force before returning to the RAF to be refurbished at Dunsfold, where she was re-registered as XX467, and again served with 229 OCU then the Tactical Weapons Unit (RAF Brawdy). She was retired to ground instructional duties in 1983 prior to being sold in 1997.
After a number of years bouncing around the restoration circuit before being acquired by Newark Air Museum in 2017, where she was eventually returned to her Blue Diamonds colour scheme.
